Cambodia at its best - The Angkor Wat temple complex, Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri

Cambodia tourism is a testament to the resilience of heat, and the pragmatism of the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia, formerly known as Kampuchea. A tragic civil war and Orwellian proportions severe disruption and damage caused by the Vietnam War, left Cambodia as one of the last places anyone would visit in Southeast Asia. Today, however, you can visit more places in Cambodia than any other time in its history. Many of the national roads have been updated recentlywith the assistance of other countries.

From Phnom Penh, the capital, plastered and sealed, remove the streets of Siem Reap in northern Cambodia, and the entrance today to the city of Angkor Wat temple complex in the city. Similarly, the roads paved and Sisophon and Sihanoukville in the south-east and the home of the best beaches in Cambodia, and Sisophon in north-west and a great place to start your trip to Banteay Chhmar start Angkor and Banteay TopTemple.

Each visit to Cambodia as a tourist should be the Angor Wat temple complex. Over the road from Phnom Penh, most importantly, Siem Reap, KH Airport City Code, served by the airlines that come in its international airport, airport code REP. These airlines include arrivals from Singapore (SIN) with Silk Air, the airline code of MI, and Singapore Airlines (SQ) Bangkok (BKK) Bangkok Airways (PG), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) with Vietnam Airlines(UN) and other international airlines when traveling from Phnom Penh, Taipei, Guangzhou, Hanoi and Seoul

The temple of Angkor Wat is a series of sites, including Angkor Wat itself, and the nearby ancient Khmer capital of Angkor Thom in the area. Other important sites are the small circular temple from the French "Le Petit Circuit", the great circuit, the French Le Grand Circuit, which adopted Roluos group of temples.

If you want to visit the other templesSites in addition to Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, it is important to know that the complex is over 400 square kilometers, and can sometimes be difficult to achieve, especially in the rainy season. And reference 400 square miles compared to small islands such as Barbados, and Andorra in Europe.

Interestingly, a recent survey, Radar, published in 2007, now suggests that the settlements and the Khmer Angkor temples and monuments of the city may have coveredmore than three thousand square kilometers, which is about the size of metropolitan Bangkok. The survey also revealed the positions of seventy-four other temples and a much more complex system of irrigation is not known.

If you plan to visit some of the sites of Angkor, you have to spend a few days in Siem Reap near. The city has an excellent selection of accommodation, including luxury hotels with air conditioning at the airport, and stay for me by far the best courses, many interestingPensions, especially near the area of Wat Bo Road Siem Reap. Most accommodation is for a car you will find some cool, is cheap, the restaurants get around the city. Or just take a tuk-tuk and have fun!

What if you want to discover some hidden treasures of Cambodia.? Then again in Phnom Penh, and go to the natural beauty of Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri provinces to see. Ratanakiri province in the north of the border with Laos and Vietnam to the east, south and Mondulkiri.

You mustgo to a travel agency in Phnom Penh, to arrange a visit to this beautiful province located in northeastern Cambodia. There are national highways and airlines maintenance of this relatively unknown part of the country.

Just as a heads-up warning to those of you thinking of going to the region, and are the owners of the tourist attractions there are no flights to Cambodia Ratanakiri Airport.

Once in Mondulkiri, your guide will take you to some of the more remotespectacular landscape in Southeast Asia. Jungles, forests, hill tribes and waterfalls, including the beautiful Boura, await you.

And then in Ratanakiri. This may be the highlight of your visit to Cambodia, and the area is simply outstanding, beginning, again, the waterfalls, the spectacular crater lake of Yak Laom, and since the original inhabitants of the hill tribes.

Try to stay at Terres Rouges Lodge, Lake Banlung. Banlung is the capital ofRatanakiri province and is a smashing little town of seventeen thousand people, and where the hill tribes come to sell their goods.

The original cabin was the home of a former governor of the province of Ratanakiri and has a rich history. Today you can find some of the best services and food in all Terre Rouge in Cambodia. Just check the croissants and baguettes, that aroma that can only be found in French provincial coffee! Well, maybe there issome similar restaurants in Phnom Penh!

Unfortunately, we must say goodbye to Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri sometimes. I wish you safe return home!
